Senior Leadership

“Leadership is not magnetic personality, that can just as well be a glib tongue. It is not “making friends and influencing people”, that is flattery. Leadership is lifting a person’s vision to higher sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.”
— Peter F. Drucker

True leadership demands creative thinkers, fearless leaders and a corporate culture that embraces change, in order to raise a person’s performance to a higher standard resulting in the best care available for our patients. SA Nurses Home Health continuously strives for excellence in patient care through its leadership expectations.

Karen Pitcher, Administrator/Owner

Prior to acquiring SA Nurses Home Health Agency, Pitcher was the CEO of Warm Springs Specialty Hospital of San Antonio and has spent more than 25 years in the healthcare industry. To compliment this experience, Pitcher earned an MBA with an emphasis in Health Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University. She has served on the Boards of San Antonio Food Bank,  City Year, and Rotary Club of San Antonio. In 2009, Pitcher was selected to receive the Texas State University Allen G. Herkimer Award for Outstanding Alumni.
